University Games

Southland UniGames 2010- April 13-16th

Despite not having a University in Invercargill, Southland has the privilege of hosting the University Games 2010.

The UniGames are famous for providing a friendly, yet competitive environment for everyone who is involved. This atmosphere has developed the UniGames into NZ’s premier University Sports Event.

With 15 Tertiary Institutions involved, 1200-1500 competitors, and 24 sports, we need your help!

Volunteers are the backbone of the Uni Games and are extremely important to ensure this event can take place in a safe and efficient manner. It is our aim to create a positive, rewarding and enjoyable experience for all volunteers involved.

Giving the athletes and their teams a real Southland experience through enthusiastic volunteers from the Southland community will be critical to its success.

You may want to count this toward your Duke of Edinburgh, Champagnat service award or you may just simply want to be involved!
